《Yellow》創(chuàng)作背景

2000年的一個(gè)晚上，酷玩樂(lè)隊(duì)錄制完專輯《Parachutes》中的歌曲《Shiver》后，一起出門(mén)休息。當(dāng)時(shí)天上的星星在漆黑夜空中顯得特別耀眼。坐在一旁胡亂彈著吉他的主唱克里斯·馬汀抬起頭凝望著夜空，即興哼出了《Yellow》的旋律，靈感迅速地沖進(jìn)了馬汀的.大腦里。

馬汀在構(gòu)思歌名的時(shí)候遇到了瓶頸，他想用一個(gè)特定的詞來(lái)貼合這首歌。他無(wú)意間看見(jiàn)當(dāng)時(shí)錄音室里的斯蒂芬妮(馬汀碰巧在錄音室的朋友)的黃色皮膚，斯蒂芬妮皮膚洋溢的黃色光芒讓馬汀立即將這首歌被命名為《Yellow》。
